Poetry
Girl in the Woods -- Finalist for the 2010 Tupelo Press/Crazyhorse Award for a First or Second Book of Poetry.
Features the poem "Alchemy," winner of the 2009-2010 James Wright Poetry Award, sponsored by Mid-American Review. The contest judge, Pulitzer Prize-winner Carl Dennis, said that Kim's winning poem "not only deals with a particular loss, but finds a way to explore loss as a process." He also praised the poem's tonal quality as it "hovers over the question of whether loss can lead to gain."
A selection of Kim's poems may be found at Kimberly Davis/poems.
